A scene where the protagonist of this WIP is discussing what they expect to find when encountering the origin of consciousness. She is struck with the grief of losing her child and as such she is in a heavy state of turmoil. The quote is as follows:
“We are all so sure this origin, the first drop of sentience, the source to it all as you said. We are so sure it is neutral, or pure, beyond the petty spectrum of humans. The evidence to me is clear, it isn’t, it is as spiteful and malicious as the rest of us. You do not create a death that punishes the living, the dead do not go to Hell but the ones that live to see them die do.”
Let me know your thoughts and feelings on this hypothetical situation, to find a hiding God is one thing but to guess its nature is almost incomprehensible !
